Gamze Çelikten

Gamze Çelikten earned her law degree from Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi Faculty of Law in 2002.

During her more than 20 years at Murat Law Firm, she has represented individual clients in labor law, commercial law and international contract negotiations and litigation. Her practice is centered on labor law affairs, with a particular expertise in representing companies and individual clients in disputes and employers against unions under collective labor agreements. In addition to her litigation experience, she has significant experience in research and practice related to the drafting of qualified employment contracts and white-collar employment contracts for companies and individuals, as well as the establishment of employee-employer rights, including competition restrictions and sanctions. She provides ongoing legal counsel and assistance to domestic and foreign clients on matters pertaining to occupational safety, occupational health, and recruitment processes.

Her recent areas of practice include corporate law, commercial sales, and consultancy agreements. In international corporate acquisitions, she guides companies in aligning the interests of purchasers and sellers while ensuring that they comply with managerial working conditions as defined by labor law.

Gamze Çelikten, who is fluent in English, continues to work as a partner, mediator and coordinator attorney at Murat Law Office.
